Blue Collar Custom Creations NV is a husband-and-wife team located here in the Carson Valley! Their small business is a family affair all around, as they’re raising six kids who love to be a part of the process. When they’re not creating their custom products or busy selling them at fairs and markets, the family processes their own beef and pork on their homestead and keeps up with all the kid’s activities they have going on.
The business started when Kaitlyn, wife and creative mastermind, began creating gifts for her kid’s teachers and close friends and family when she realized she really liked the process of making the gifts. She started out by creating epoxy tumblers and has now progressed to owning 14 tumbler turners, 5 printers, and a laser engraver for all their different kinds of products!
At Blue Collor Custom Creations, you can find all sorts of wonderful gifts for loved ones during this holiday season! They sell cups and tumblers, engraved cutting boards and charcuterie boards, hats, earrings, t-shirts, and more.
Their kiddos love being involved in the creative process, helping create t-shirts and earrings, and modeling all the great clothing items they offer. The kids also come to each craft fair and market to help set up and break down, admittedly as fast as they can so they can run off and enjoy the fair. Kaitlyn loves attending shows she knows her kids will have fun at while she and her husband hold down the fort at the booths.
The Ag and Artisan Holiday Faire holds a special place in Kaitlyn’s heart, as she spent a lot of time around the historic Storke Dairy. Her good friend was the daughter of the Storke family, the original owners of the property. She enjoys being back at the Dairy to sell her handmade products and remembers the many weekends she spent there with her friend.
While this wonderful small business is a family affair, so is the Ag and Artisan Holiday Faire! Our event is always family friendly. Bring the kids out to say hello to Santa, ride on our tractor hayride around the property, and run around to look at our livestock and the wonderful animals brought in by our local 4H kids. Get your shopping done while also keeping the kids entertained! Be sure to stop by their booth and check out all their wonderful handmade items.
Check them out on their website, Facebook, and Instagram pages!
